It features a combination of metallic shrouding with a non-metallic Zytel 101 nylon housing to provide durability while maintaining resistance to environmental factors. The receptacle includes pressure terminal screws for connectivity and supports wire sizes from #8 AWG to #2 AWG, rated for operation up to 60 amps at 600 volts AC.
